Karen Rogala

As a Parents League board director for over 20 years, Karen Rogala has served on every committee, chaired several, and led the board as President. She currently serves as Technology Co-chair, finance and governance member, and on the Past Presidents Council. During her tenure, she has developed new revenue streams, instituted marketing programs, recruited over 20 board members, and created employee and volunteer handbooks to help grow and improve Parents League.

Ms. Rogala is Strategic Communications Director for the New York State Association of Independent Schools. Prior to her role with NYSAIS, she served as a marketing, sales, and communications executive with extensive experience in award-winning media companies and start-ups.

Ms. Rogala holds a B.A. from the University at Albany in Communications. She has chaired committees of professional associations and has been an active volunteer at her children’s New York City independent schools. She and her husband Joshua Connell reside in New York City.
