Donation Resources for the Crisis in Ukraine
Many families are concerned about the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, though knowing how to make sense of such an emergency can be difficult, especially with children in a household. If you are looking to help your child make sense of this moment or wish to provide direct support for the ongoing efforts for displaced Ukrainian families, we offer the following resource list of organizations. Each of these 501(c)(3) organizations is accepting financial contributions, in any amount, as they organize support services throughout Europe. While your instincts may be to donate something tangible, we have learned that financial resources are more easily managed by the many organizations working to support those in need. Please note the descriptions of the organizations listed come from the organizations themselves.
- Save the Children – is concerned for children caught in the middle of armed conflict, forced from their homes in freezing temperatures, and exposed to injury, hunger, and cold. Donations to Save the Children’s Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund can help provide children and families with immediate aid, such as food, water, hygiene kits, psychosocial support, and cash assistance. 501 Kings Highway East, Suite 400, Fairfield, CT 06825
